At NXT UP Basketball Academy, we are dedicated to the holistic development of every athlete. We are not a club team—we are much more than that. While clubs primarily focus on games, our Academy emphasizes growth in all aspects of basketball.
Our approach includes comprehensive skill development, basketball IQ enhancement through film sessions, and strength & conditioning programs designed specifically for basketball and young athletes. On top of that, we provide the right amount of quality competition to challenge and prepare athletes without sacrificing their long-term growth.

Program Overview
NXT UP Basketball Academy is built for athletes who want real development and meaningful experience without wasted time or unnecessary costs. Our program provides opportunities to compete on the MADE Hoops Circuit, the #1 grassroots circuit in North America, while also participating in competitive local tournaments. We focus on improving each athlete’s complete game through intentional on-court development, strength and conditioning, and structured exposure opportunities. Every training session, tournament, and resource is designed to maximize growth, confidence, and basketball IQ while supporting the athlete holistically. Athletes come prepared, train with purpose, and leave better on and off the court.

Showtime Digital and NXT UP Basketball B.C.'s first media collaboration for basketball academies, giving athletes a stage both in Canada and the U.S. We're here to capture your grind, tell your story, and make sure the world sees you not just as an athlete, but as a brand.

ELITE CIRCUIT TRAVEL TEAMS
Every aspect of our training is focused on identifying and nurturing talent, fostering growth, and providing athletes with the most competitive environment to enhance their abilities.
Committed athletes have the opportunity to try out for our AAU travel teams, which compete both local competitive tournaments and will be attending the prestigious MADEHoops Elite Basketball Circuit.
ADVANCED TRAINING (PRIVATE, SMALL GROUP, ACADEMY)
We offer customized private, small group, and academy sessions designed to help you reach your full potential on the court.

CAMPS
Our camps offer a dynamic and immersive experience for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.
Led by experienced coaches and often featuring guest appearances by college, university and professional players.
Athletes will have the opportunity to refine their abilities in a supportive and competitive group environment that will challenge them to learn and grow in an elite level culture.
MENTORSHIP
For those athletes who aspire to continue their journey at the post-secondary level. We offer guidance and resources to navigate the recruitment process, connect with post-secondary level coaches and explore scholarship opportunities.
Our mentorship program is your pathway to success. Designed to provide you with the tools and insights necessary for successful recruitment.
